The Government of Uttarakhand, since its inception, has taken several Initiatives for development of the State, One of them is Water for Welfare. It is a virtual centre of Excellence in the form of a Federation of several Institutions/Organizations in Uttarakhand, some belonging to the State Government and others to the Government of India. It aims at leveraging the immense water and hydropower potential in Uttarakhand. |
